Fynch-Hatton Fit Guide

FYNCH-HATTON Fit Guide

Getting the fit right is the difference between a garment you simply wear and one you reach for every week. This guide explains how FYNCH-HATTON menswear is cut and how to choose the size that works best for you. For exact measurements, please refer to our Size Guide.

How FYNCH-HATTON garments are cut

FYNCH-HATTON is designed around a modern, comfortable fit — tailored enough to feel refined, relaxed enough for everyday wear. Pieces are crafted from premium fabrics chosen for their structure, comfort and durability, allowing garments to hold a clean silhouette without feeling restrictive.

The exact fit may vary slightly between styles, so we always recommend checking the description on the individual product page alongside this guide.

Finding your size

Our sizing follows standard menswear sizing (S–4XL, with shirts also referenced by collar size in cm). Measurements shown in the Size Guide are taken from the finished garment laid flat.

The easiest way to find your ideal size is to compare the measurements with a similar item you already own and enjoy wearing, rather than measuring your body directly.

Choosing your fit by category

Shirts

Choose your size based on both chest and collar measurements. If you wear shirts mainly open-necked or in a smart-casual way, prioritise chest size for comfortable movement. If you wear shirts fully buttoned or with a tie, focus on collar measurement.

If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for a more relaxed fit or the smaller size for a sharper silhouette.

Polos & T-Shirts

Designed for comfortable everyday wear. Choose your usual chest size for a regular fit, or size down for a closer silhouette.

Knitwear

Cut to layer comfortably over shirts and T-shirts. If you plan to wear knitwear over collared shirts, we recommend taking your usual size. For a slimmer fit worn on its own, consider sizing down.

Trousers, Chinos & Shorts

Sized by waist measurement. We recommend checking both waist and leg measurements in the Size Guide and considering how you prefer trousers to sit — either on the waist or slightly lower.

Jackets & Outerwear

Designed to layer comfortably over shirts and knitwear. If you intend to wear heavier layers underneath, consider sizing up. For a trimmer fit over lighter layers, take your usual size.

Between sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes, think about how you prefer your clothing to fit. Size up for a more relaxed drape and additional comfort, or size down for a closer, more tailored silhouette.
